Photographing a venue after dark always adds a little extra dynamic to the rest of the days pictures. Taking a step back and photographing the venue from afar creates a sense of place. When darkness falls and the lights come on the opportunity is there to capture some great night time pictures.
I tend to stay at a wedding well into the evening celebrations and never disappear at the end of the first dance! It's a really important time, there's so much going on. Adding these extra pictures to the days images gives a wedding couple a view of their day in a whole new light, literally!
So, a few examples of my nocturnal wonderings, including Hothorpe Hall, Falsely Hall, Rushton Hall, Chawton House, Holdenby House and Kelmarsh Hall.
